And I’ve changed my name!
Please join me at my new home under my nom de plume, Marilyn Baxter. It’s located at www dot marilynbaxter dot com.
Thanks for your support during the Boroughs novella contest. I’ve received my contract and the preliminary publication forms and hope to be able to announce a publication date soon — at the new site!
And to celebrate Hump Day, I’ll be giving away a $20 Amazon gift certificate to one lucky commenter today!
Tell me that you voted (go HERE to vote). Tell me that you shared this on Facebook or Twitter (tag me with Marilyn Lyerly Puett on FB and @marilynpuett on Twitter).
I’ll post a winner on Thursday.
Keep voting folks! Better as a Memory is the first entry on the voting site.
It seems there’s some confusion about the voting for the Boroughs novella contest. Let me see if I can part the clouds a bit.
- The link for voting is http://boroughspublishinggroup.com/content/whats-name-voting
- The stories are listed by the song that inspired them and the artist. No author names are used.
- You can vote every day, but you must wait 24 hours between votes.
So with that in mind, my story is the second entry and is titled “Better as a Memory.”
I hope that clears up the confusion. It’s already looking a little sunnier in here.
Voting for the Boroughs Publishing Group “What’s in a Name” novella contest starts on Monday, and moi has entered.
I’ll post a link on Monday and y’all can all rush over and cast your vote for “Better as a Memory.” And tell your friends too!
After I finish a project or when I’m stuck on one, I read. It helps me clear my head and usually helps me see where I can improve my own work.
This morning I’m starting this. What are YOU reading?
